I am a semi-retired homeowner in North Cowichan, and familiar with all aspects of house and pet care. My pampered orange kitty can attest to my love and caring, which I've given to all the cats and dogs I've looked after for years, whether my own or others'. I have a fairly flexible schedule, a vehicle, and can spend long hours as a companion (including going for walks) or even stay in your home while you are away if that works out. I am trustworthy and reliable. I can provide references upon request.
More specifically, as a homeowner, I am aware of what needs to be taken care of around /in the house while you are away, and have helped neighbours out multiple times. I am happy to discuss additional requests, such as indoor/outdoor plant watering (I'm good with plants). I am fine with doing laundry related to your pet, but I am not interested in housework (I have enough of that in my own home!). I have a natural love of animals and they tend to take to me, in part because I think they sense I am a patient, caring and non-threatening. I have also administered pills and injections to small pets as needed. I am happy to take your pet for walks and have no problem taking your pet to the vet if necessary, as agreed between us.
